Ms. Haro has worked with youth in various ways throughout the years. She co-directed the Tri-Mentor program at the UCLA Alumni Association, which matched a high-school student, with a college student and a professional in a specific field. Additionally, she has mentored several students throughout the years and spoken at various youth conferences to encourage and inspire young adults to pursue higher education and their personal endeavors. 
She is a regular presenter for the “Adelante Mujer Latina Conference,” and has given presentations at the “Future Leaders of America Conference” as well as conferences at UCLA, community colleges and high schools. She has also delivered the LaTEENa Power program- an 8 week course to high school students in the San Gabriel area.
